I'm trying to setup a pair of CCR2116-12G-4S+ routers in my lab to simulate the internet connection I'll have once Lumen delivers my circuit. I've put the following very basic router config on both devices. From each router I can ping it's own interface but I cannot seem to ping from router1 -> router2 or vice versa.
I also can't seem to get a link up status on sfp-sfpplus2 ports and there's no link lights, I've tried different SFPs but these are all brand new routers, cables and sfp modules. Anyone point me at what I'm doing wrong? Or what step I missed to get those ports to activate?
The SFP modules I'm using are Mikrotik XS+85LC01D with a brand new LC-LC single mode cable between the two.
It also looks like the SFP port is flapping between "no-link" and "initializing" when I run /interface ethernet monitor sfp-sfpplus2 to see what's going on.
