you are looking to do gaming through the network , and i suppose you have wireless connection .
gaming need the transfer of too much info through the network , voice , video etc .
you need a new and high specs for your pc and not pIII with 128 MB for ram .
you need high specs for the hardware .
another thing , you should not allow to do sharing between the clients , they will swallow the wireless signal for doing transfers and load the cpu for not important thing , beside the viruses will move from one pc to another .
