Hey,

I know there can be compatibility issues with some SFP-modules so I tried one on hEX PoE (RB960PGS) and it worked fine.
But I couldn't get it working on L009 (L009UiGS-2HaxD-IN): pppoe-session can't start and an error appears: "sfp module auto-initialization failed try forced-mode".

Both were using ROS stable 7.16.2 and I also tried 7.17rc2 (which has "sfp - improved initialization and linking for some SFP modules") for L009 with the same result.

SFP-module I'm trying is FoxGate XPON SFP ONU 1001XP-SFP.

Is it due to different CPU-architectures?
Is there a chance it'll get working on later ROS-releases?
