strange hangups 5ghz versus running 2.4ghz

Wed Apr 20, 2005 6:29 pm

hello

this is a on going issue i keep asking about but . why with the cm9 card running in 5ghz does it lock up my system

using a dfi-socket 370 mottherboard
1.3ghz chip
128 ram sd
cf 128

now this is the funky part if i change the card to run on 2.4ghz i dont seem to have any issues , but as soon as i change the system to 5ghz it will run for about a day and lockup . then i will restart it works fine for another day. not i thought it was just with the cm9 card , but after test for a couple of weeks , i am having this issue with it seems to be my dlink cards as well. but again only in the 5ghz range . running these same systems in the 2.4 the work well. why..............................................................................................................
any help would be great

Not to pick on you, but you seem to have a lot of problems. Maybe you should start with a new system and check your cards, as they might not be the problem. Try an older Compaq or HP Vectra machine. We have 30+ DeskPro ENS in service, and they don't have any problems. Most have 100 days uptime now - last reboot was when we installed 2.8.21.

Do yourself a favor and do a system reset on the software when you move the CF card to a new box. It will make life easier.
