i mean can we use a high power minipci for RB411 or 411A.
plzzz help me to sort out this issue.

hello...i got a wisp network where:-

RB 411A + R52 + 16 dbi (120 sector) can it handle 25 simulatenous users mostly online all the time,where most users have 128 kbps and 256 kbps unlimited ineternet connection. all clients are not more then 3 km away. i will not allowed more then 60 mac address in future to connect with present distributing hardware.( i believe out of 60 may be 40 users would be online all the time.)

1. current ROS version is 2.9.x shd i change it to 3.13 which one is better and more stable for point to multipoint connecttions.

2. shd i change the mini pci card aslo as more users are going to connect to it..already 37 mac address are allowed and 24-25 users always online and if yes then which mini pci card shd i change with?

note:- i use low cost radio(only 2.4ghz) at client site.

setup is working almost good but i dont mined if i get btter with less expenditure.

all suggestions and replies are heartly accepted.

doesn't RB 4xx already come with ROS v3.x??
I fine v.3.10 the most stable.

older production batch of RB411/411A can handle more than 600mW card just fine (I've tested witch many board pairing with dcma82 cards and XR2/5 cards).

But don't keep your hope up just yet cause newer production batch of RB411/411A really sucks. I've tested with dcma82 (default tx power 23dB) in 2.4 mode. It will show some poor wireless performance compairing when i use itu to pair with RB 433. And when we switch ti 5Ghz mode the board just shut down. This is also happend when I use XR2, I notice some poor wireless performance compare when I use to paired it with RB433.

So if You still want to buy RB 411/411A pairing with high power card, I can only recomend to use NMP 8601 350mW. cause this card did not show any iregularity when pairing with RB411/411A.
