ah :(
~12 days they tested 3.11 on demo(2).mt.lv, in this time 3 times packages were build :)
maybe mt should release a pre to small beta testers community?
(u can count on me ;P)

and what about power issue problem on 4xx?
maybe some official standing from mt guys?
this boards have that and this is normal? or this is a problem and you are working about it?

ps. i love your work, please don't dissapoint me :>

Can you point me to the thread about a power issue problem on the 4xx boards please... I'm going to look again now but I must have missed it somewhere..

Thanks

"rebooted because of kernel failure" is not a general bug, it's a system-specific problem. did you send a supout.rif to support?

i send a supout a couple a weeks ago from 3.10
and i've got this reply from Janisk
Ok, we will look in this matter, but at this point it looks like it is nothing
serious - something in the middle of shutdown process.

same problems here....
the only stable version on our rb 1xx is 2.9.xx
none of the 3.x are running as we would like or they should do....
i think the boards have not enough cpu power as they allways go up to 100% load
on doing nearly nothing, only 1 rb52 with 1 or 2 clients and no noise imunity activated...
n the are rebotet by watchdog or kernel fail...
the problems are more often on rb 112 then on the 133 - maybe its also a problem with not enough
memory ...

we have no problmes on all other stronger boards

I already send a 3.10 supout file as showed here:

http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=24422

and with me, also other people do the same.

I recived in reply from support some like "rb133c it's a simple hw... keep it simple and uninstall unused packages".

I usually uninstall all unuseful packages for me and i get a better cpu performance (from 100-80% with all packages to 3-20% with only the necessary), but for the kernel failure nothing change. And i think isn't nice to have a kernel failure... something somewhere isn't working correctly.

Now i send again a supout file and hope that someone at Mikrotik look at it.

But... a question turn around in my mind: i think this is a problem for all the rb133c (and, reading this forum, also for other rb), not only for mine so, why at Mikrotik nobody see this? They don't test the software before release on every rb? Just rebulid and upload?

A Kernel failure it's a Kernel failure! Not just an implementation error of some parser or things like this :? !
