You have any plans to support mesh routing protocols like DSDV and DSR?

We already support WDS -- with no limitations on WDS connections and this is a kind of MAC/bridge MESH. We do plan something quite sophisticated, but it won't be for some months at least.

nstreme2 and wds

Fri Jul 09, 2004 9:30 am

tully,

What are the chances that we can run nstreme2 between 2 or more ap's, have wds running on one as master and other as slave, have them mesh and have a hotspot that uses the airpath login page as its main login page?

Clients should be able to connect to either AP as a client of the hotspot and route across the best path the mesh/wds supplies

Now if someone would come up with a pcmcia card that has 2 radio's in it to talk to an nstreme2 box ...
ummmm sounds interesting

Nstreme will not run on the same radio with 802.11 running. So as long as you have another radio for Nstreme, then you can do all you want.
