Okay. I did a nslookup of my upstream provider's email server like you suggested and got
a "non-authoritative" name and IP address. In Winbox, I put the IP address in the server field, and my email address (
something@coxinet.net) in the "from" field (which is different than the dns name of the email server - webmail.coxmail.com).
Next, I went to the RouterOS console and entered the command:
/ tool e-mail send body="Hello from Scott" to=
johndoe@yahoo.com subject="Testing MikroTik"
I did not get any error messages, but the email never showed up at the yahoo email account. I am sure I did something wrong, but don't know what. Any suggestions?
