The RouterOS is closed so you can not install the drivers...

But if you make a support file and mail it to "support @ mikrotil . com"
They maybe able to help you...

But when you buy hardware and want it to work with RouterOS don't look after the Linux support on the box but look on the forums/wiki after what is supported!

The MikroTik documentation has a list of supported drivers / devices.

When in doubt, install an Intel Pro 100. If you have any further doubts, install an Intel Pro 100.

Did I mention that you need to install an Intel Pro 100?

Seriously, if you want your system to just 'run' without any hassles, go with the Intel nic. Tough luck if your grannies best friends uncles neighbour's son can get you some cr@ppy Chinese card at a ridiculous price, stick with the Intel.

You wont regret it, promise.

if your NIC doesn't show up in "/interfaces" even in latest v3.11, then we can't help you. You have to wait until the open source community adds these drivers to the kernel. You have to check supported cards in our manual, before buying new NIC. RouterOS is not really linux. It is RouterOS.
