Suggestions Please:

I now have 2 sites acting the same. The both are 16db Horizontal 95degree sectors. One has 4 associations and the other has approx 20 associations. No matter what channel i put the AP on I get less than 10ms ping times for approx. 1 minute then the ping times jump to approx 1000ms and the browsing is extremely poor. I switch channels thinking noise is the issue but it does the same thing some channels are better initially than others but all fall back into the same situation.

I am using Routerboard 532 w/ the R52H card on both sectors. The sectors are in different areas approx 30 miles apart. Both sectors are on towers with other sectors that are acting normally.

Client radios on both AP's are mixed between Tranzeo and Ubiquiti PS2's.

I've attempted turning power down on all radios so the best signal strength is -65. Thinking i am creating my own noise on the AP's.

Any suggestions on what might be happening? thanks!

throw away R52H and try R52.

Is the R52H bad? I thought that was a good card?

I think i narrowed the issue down to a couple customers using P2P and hogging the AP. Would this cause ping times on the AP to go up?

If so, short of cutting the customer off completely, how do I limit their TCP connections to the AP at the AP. i know how to limit them once they get back into the main router, but this doesn't solve my issue of the AP hogging?
