Tranzeo DHCP Issues

Fri Aug 29, 2008 8:07 am

We are handing DHCP out and have issues with just Tranzeo clients. I have read on here this has to do with the way Tranzeo does it's discover packet.

Anyone have a workaround? The server continually offers the address to the CPE which never gets it. We are running 3.6.7 Firmware from Tranzeo.
Thanks,
Justin

What is the frequency domian used on your Mikrotik device?
Make sure the frequency domain are configured to the same region on both AP and CPE. If they are not in the same region they won't talk.

You can login to the web user interface (default 192.168.1.100). Configure the Tranzeo devcei's IP address to the same range as the Mikrotek device ( if you changed the IP address on your Tranzeo device remember to change your computer's address to the same range).

To talk to AP device (providing the device is in Infrastructure mode). If the wireless encryption is enabled on your AP then you must enter encryption key first. Then Click on left hand side 'AP List' after couples of seconds you should be all the AP in the area. Click on the AP you want to conect. After a second or two your link shloud be connected.
