nstream dual - channel recycling?

Wed Sep 10, 2008 1:49 pm

I was wondering if I could actually 'get away' with using the same TX and RX frequencies for two seperate nstream dual 11a/20mhz links with CSMA disabled? (keeping the TX and RX channels a couple hundred MHz apart)

Neither link has any chance of the client ends actually ever being able to hear each other directly. Mostly I'm concerned if the TX paths will 'fight', even with CSMA disabled.

Anyone done this? Any Advice?

Thanks!

You should be able to use the same Tx channel for as many Nstream2 links on a tower as you want. And can probably get away with quite a bit of re-use on the Rx. If you really want to max the usage you can alter polarizations, etc.
