I just changed a few things in my wireless setup to try to minimize noise interference. Mainly move my XR2 and XR9 cards to separate boards with RF shielding between them. My throughput went way down, like from 4.5Mb/s to 280Kb/s. Is their anything that just stands out as to why that might be?

I know, but it's kinda laughable when you're right next to a 100KW FM station. Their off-band emissions are quite a lot more that 5w!

What about trying Nstream on the 2.4 link? I don't fully understand Nstream, maybe it would also be good on the 900 network as well. Is it just a matter of enabling it on all routers and everything will reconnect? No extra bridging or other settings that may catch me by surprise and send me scurrying to all my customers houses to reset?...

OK, I see ap-bridge + WDS is not compatible with Nstream, I'll have to do some reading on what to do with that...

I always make a virtualAP for admin functions just in case I mess up.

In the manuel, it says

WDS for Nstreme protocol requires using station-wds mode on one of the peers. Configurations with WDS between AP modes (bridge and ap-bridge) will not work.

So will this work with Nstream on all links?

So that means I don't want wds-slave set on my master AP, or the frequency of my whole network could get hijacked by say a radio I'm trying new settings on at another frequency???

If you're being overwhelmed by off-band emissions, an amp is only going to add to the problem. I'm at a radio station site and I have no problems with off-band emissions, but I don't use your gear.

How many watts is the station putting out? And is it an old tube xmitter they're running?

The station where I'm at is running 100KW. I may try removing the amp again, but when I first set up I had very poor performance without it. Now I'm just about willing to bet that since the FM station has gone from 15KW to 100KW I would have better performance without it. My noise floor was -42 dbi this morning, amazingly we were still able to connect here at the house with a signal of -72 dbi. I'm going to go up the tower this evening remove the amp just for a check.
