The 18POW supply sold by Mikrotik is 24volts DC .8 amp (19 watts). This works fine with both RouterBoards and 1 or 2 low power radio cards (r52 or r52H) or 1 higher power card (like an xr2).

If you are running more radio cards then it is wise to use the higher power supply like the 24HPOW which is 24 volts at 1.6 amps (38 watts).

I would use the 24HPOW 24 volt 38 watt supply and the RB/P54 passive POE injector when using more than one XR2 card with a RB433 or RB433AH.

I am not sure why you are saying "many" XR2. You can only fit two in the triple shot connector used on the RB4xx series RouterBoards.
