Connection problem

Tue Sep 30, 2008 4:40 pm

Hi,

I have 2 RB133 with Ubiquiti XR9 cards and RB 2.9.46 version. All the ports in the RB133 are in bridge mode, include wlan. One wlan is in APBridge mode and the other in station mode. The system shows the associated client and the log show the correct assciation. But, I can´t ping the other RB133.
Can you help me?
Thanks
Lau

Have you assigned an ip address to the bridge?

Yes, of course. Both RB133 have an IP adress in the same subnet

Do you have any firewall rules enabled? Post /interface bridge print, /interface bridge port print, and /ip address print.

Lau you need to set the link up as a WDS link, ie. AP/Bridge and AP/Bridge or Station WDS on the other side.

Absolutely correct. You can't run a straight station on a bridge. You should also upgrade to v3 while you are at it. It runs the 900mhz cards much better than v2.9
