Hi,
I want the Mikrotik Router to be a PPPoE Client with my ISP on the WAN-Interface and
a PPPoE-Server for my Customers on the LAN Interface.
I am using this configuration with a real IP for every customer with IP-mapping on another mikrotik router already.
But now I want to configure a second Mikrotik router (on a different telephone line) that only gets one IP from the ISP as a PPPoE client and does NAT and PPPoE Serverto the local net.
Obviously the NAT does not work.
- the Mikrotik can connect to the ISP as a PPPoE Client
- Customers can connect to the Mikrotik routers' LAN interface using PPPoE-dail-up.
- I can also ping the Mikrotik from clients computers
- But I have no internet access (nslookup timeout, ping timeout to IP of popular websites)
I thing the NAT does not work.
I have done /ip firewall nat add chain=srcnat action=masquerade out-interface=pppoe-Telekom
(pppoe-Telekom is the pppoe-client interface of Mikrotik to my ISP)
On the customer computer, all IP settings that were automatically given to the dail-up connection seem to be correct EXCEPT the defaultgateway that is left empty.
Any ideas?
Where can I see the IP adress that was given by my ISP?
Regards and thanks
