A onboard temperature sensor would be a godsend.
I live in an area that goes from -30° to +45° degrees Celsius and having on baord temperature reading would allow us to look for patterns when problems occur to see if they are temperature related. Testing a RB in a freezer and having it work reliably isn't the same as a real world deployment of 300 units.
The other thing this would be extermely useful for is finding problems with sealing, wide temperature differences between similar units could show signs that there is a problem with the seals on a case.
