mkrotik or ubiquiti atheros drivers

Thu Feb 19, 2009 12:02 am

Could someone please give me some insight on this issue. Who has the better performing atheros driver? ubiquiti or mikrotik? I am at odds between the crossroads board or the ubiquiti nanostation for clients. Any input would be great! Thank you all in advance. Rob

I use MT clients because I can set priorities through them as I do the AP if I have customers that go nuts on P2P.

I've got a few places to try the nano stations, but haven't yet. I don't know if they're capable of traffic filtering/QoS.

The nanos work well and cost less, but they do not support nstreme.

how to buy the ubiquiti product?
it's the board pre-load the firmware like mikrotik?

Firmware is in the board itself.
