WDS block local lan

Thu Feb 26, 2009 11:05 am

Hi.

I have a small 11 point WDS network that I took over from a previous company. These points all run on the same subnet to deliver information to our clients. Our clients have however their own networks. My problem is that their internal networks broadcast to eachother and they are getting IP Address conflicts as in our country the default ADSL installation IP's never change(ADSL Routers are all 10.0.0.2). I have search through all of the results that I could find about this and have found nothing that could help. I have tried setting up drop rules for these networks on the Mikrotik devices.

Is there a way to block their internal networks whilst still keeping WDS? Reconfiguring the network will be a big job but I fear using routing might be the only way.

If anyone could help out I would really appreciate it.

Nat there router. That way you isolate there network from the rest of the network.

How do you deliver information to the clients over this WDS network? Do you have a windows server at a central point in the network which they must be able to access?

I need more information regarding your setup.
