Does 'Burst Time' for wireless do anything?

Tue Mar 10, 2009 11:33 am

Under Advanced, for Wireless Interfaces, there is a "Burst Time" setting. By default, it is disabled.

From your experience, will enabling it result in better speeds? What is the recommended value?

Leave it as it is.... It it is better to leave it on disabled for performance most especially in a PTMP arrangement. Maybe I will look for the technical details for you later on and the implication of using value. By disable, it means 0. Hope this helps at all...

Thanks, dipson. I tried it myself in a PtMP setup and the results were poor.
