Tue Apr 28, 2009 11:57 am

hii...

i m undergoing with a very critical problem with one of my mikrotik AP. actually letancy of CPE's varies frm 3-8 ms...but in a very short time and any time it spike and keep increasing and raeches uto 2000-3000, and finally all CPE's shows "Request time out". i just reebot the AP and it agian start working good but for a very limited period of time... and again spkies in latenacy continues. previously i used Access list to allow only authorise CPE's to connect, but when i see the LOG there were lost of error of sent deauth and data frm unkown devices, so as a matter of thought i just disbale the Access list and remove all the mac address in that list but this dont improve anything , the error LOG still remain same..

i m using crossraod and only 10-18 CPE's online at a time... low number of connected CPE also dont make any differnce.

follwoing are the attachemnts:

This seems familiar issues that I had once. But can't exactly remember how it was solved. Make sure polling is turned on and your ack is set to dynamic. You might even play around with your ack and set it manually depending on how close the clients are. Try 60-90 if there 2-5 miles out.
