How to choose 5470 MHz - 5725 MHz (DFS,TPC)

Mon Jul 18, 2005 11:38 pm

I´m using RouterOS RC7 and want to establish some point2point-Links. In Germany, TX-Power of 30 dBm is only allowed with TPC, DFS in a frequency-range of 5470 MHz to 5725 MHz.

But if I choose frequency="regulatory domain" country="germany" and DFS="radar detect" RouterOS is already choosing 5180 MHz (sometimes 5200 MHz). Even if I try to set the Frequency manually to 5700 MHz, RouterOS is always choosing 5180 MHz.

Is it possible to limit frequency to 5470 MHz - 5725 MHz.

Thank You in advance.

Canram.

Yes it is possibly to set limitations, if you know radar-detection feature scans frequencies from "scan-list".
Than if you need frequencies from 5470-5725:
interface wireless set wlanx scan-list=5470-5725 dfs-mode=radar-detect
it should work.
