We just upgraded to 2.8.28 yesterday from 2.8.24 and we have been having loads of problems. We enabled VRRP only to find that it messes up something. Today our BGP settings mystreiously dissapeared twice. Fortunately there was a backup - restore got the settings again and then it dissapeared again !. I have left it at 2.8.28 to see if it occurs again .

Another problem is we have 4 intel nics 3 (gige) and 1 eepro100(onboard) nic. Switch is cisco . The switch is hard set to 100mbis full duplex and so are the nics (auto negotiation is off) . After a reboot it seems the 1 eepro100 does not set itself to full duplex. Performance sucks until we go in and manually disable and enable full duplex. ITs fine after that. --- This problem has been there in 2.8.24 as well . Have another machine same config as spare and it shows same symptoms with respect to eepro100
