ARP reply-only problem

my interface X is reply-only mode and I have a DHCP server and I need to add only mac-addresses on the arp list without addresses. how to sovle this issue? cause i've tried to add only mac-address without assigining any address and I tried ping the interface X on Mikrotik.. it didn't work !! so any idea? thanks plenty:)

ARP needs a MAC address and an IP address. In the ARP table just assign an unused IP address to the MAC address and the DHCP server will hand that IP out every time to that MAC.

but does this work if my dhcp server is on win2k server? and what to do to let this combination works? thanks in advance

it will be better to use dhcp on MikroTik
