BGP 3.30 Routing-Test experience

Tue Sep 22, 2009 10:32 am

Hi,

as MT seems to iron out some long-time Bugs in their BGP-Implementation
it's time to upgrade.

I've had some problems before 3.28 where sometimes
the network announcement (with network statement) vanishes.
This seems to be fixed in 3.28. In 3.28 I've had one router crashing
once in a way that routing works but it was impossible to log in to this router.
Reboot helps but I've to drive to this router. So this version was some way
better but not as stable as a bgp-router has to be.

So now we're on 3.30 routing-test looking forward what happens.

Running for 6 hours now.

Our uplink-config is 3 RB1000. Each of them getting full feed interconnected with IBGP.
All three running OSPF to inject default route into our network.

So what's your experience with 3.30?
