I'm kinda new to MT and am having a stupid problem. Seems I can never change a frequency on an AP and have the clients move over with it. I have tried this on the XR2 and XR5 cards. Clients that are in station mode will reconnect but come back with bad signal strengths 80-90. I noticed the frequency shown on the clients will still be the old frequency and even manualy changing these clients to the new frequency does nothing for the signal strength. I am changing to an open frequency fyi.
What is the proper procedure for changing the frequency?

in stations, the working frequency is shown in /interface wireless registration-tables.
The one selected in /interface wireless is used only if the wlan is in bridge or ap-bridge mode
