Mon Dec 14, 2009 5:05 pm

i have two mikrotik boards set as APs. one is using v4 so i can connect nanostationm5 clients.
i want to bridge these two using ether 2 on both boards. is this possible.

Why do you want to do this?
I assume both boards are running down to the same switch via ether1 and you have WLan1 bridged to ether1. Is that correct?

Of course you could bridge ether1 ether2 and wlan1 on both boards but you will have a loop unless you disconnect one of the boards from the switch downstairs.

Yes, of course. Why not?
Plug it in, configure correctly, and enjoy.
