Which connector are people using on the SR5 card - the U.Fl or the MMCX?

I'm trying to set it an MT box with the SR5 and finding that the output power is way below what it should be (using the MMCX connector).

Lastly, is one connector "antenna a" and the other connector "antenna b" in regards to the mikrotk interface configuration?

Antenna A is the U.Fl connector and antenna B is the MMCX. I did a lot of testing today with the SR5 / EM-9 / CM-9 cards. There was no difference in output between the MMCX and the U.Fl connectors in my tests. I'll try to post the results from all my testing here later when I get time. I have two SR5 cards on towers now and I seemed to have lost some output so I decided to do some testing. I confirmed that on version 2.8 I am seeing about a 1-2 db signal *drop* on transmit power after going to the SR5 cards. EM-9 cards were in use, manually set to 20 or 23 db on output. The SR5 did do better in my testing than the CM-9 on transmit by several db.

U.FL connectors can get broken after few plug-ins, plug-outs. it is usually not needed to reconnect them often, but if you need to do so (for example you do some testings), it will last very shortly. After that is starts loosing signal and you can throw it away. This is specially if you don't take a lot of care when you plug it out. It has to be done very carefully.

Hmm, and I haven't tried MMCX. Are they more robust regarding this problem? I supose yes, because PCMCIA cards have MMCX and they are supposed to be connected lot of times to different antennas (for measuring purposes etc). Am I right?

the mmcx are certainly tough, better than the Lucent ones of a similar size to. I've a PCMCIA card that has these and I'm always pluging in and out a pigtail when i do site surveys using netstumbler, I've had this card since early 2004
