User Data Resetting on reboot

Tue Jan 19, 2010 9:07 pm

Hello,

I have 2 RouterBOARDS with RouterOS v4 and v3.5 on them. Everytime the power goes out, or the unit resets, all of the user data goes back to 0. Is there a command or a way that the data, such as usage, will not dissapear everytime there is something that causes it to reboot?

Thank you in advance,

James

What data do you want to save after reboot?

Mostly, just the amount of data the client has sent and received.

Is it firewall rule or any other menu?
Most of the counters are reseted after reboot. You can use SNMP, RADIUS other tools to save the data, that you need.
