Radius Problem

Fri Feb 19, 2010 2:14 pm

i have the following setup

(WAN: x.x.x.x) UserManager (LAN: 10.10.1.254) --- L2TP Tunnel --- (WAN: y.y.y.y) HotSpot (LAN: 10.20.0.254)

Now i configured Usermanager with a Router SourceIP y.y.y.y everything works fine!

When I try to configure Useremanager with Router SourceIP 10.20.0.254 it does not work al all,
so i defined the SRC Address in the Radius Setting on the HotSpot as 10.20.0.254.

Now i get's strange:

Usermanager authenticates sucessfully:
test 10.20.1.198 10.20.0.254 Feb/19/2010 13:05:37 authorization success
HotSpot tells me Radius timed out!!!

any ideas?

Best Regards
Gerold

Are you to ping RADIUS server IP from the RADIUS client router?
