Getting reports of this as well.

Also noting it looks like the torrents are not being seeded at all. Stuck at 50% all around.

Same here, broken packages.... Seriously starting to wonder about Mikrotik. Do they do any quality testing?? This is second time I can remember this happening.

I have the same problem. I tried downloading it with torrent but torrent seems to hang after about 52%. I've downloaded both the 400 series and the Intel/AMD multiple times and get the same message on the PC and on a 450G " system, error broken package". I tried both http download from a browser and using the fetch command from inside the router. Is anyone having any luck installing 4.6?? :(
I am downloading from the USA site, I tried the mirrors, but neither of them have the package. I also tried Canada, but they did not have the package either.

Same problem here. If I get it I will throw it up on our webserver.

I've been using 4.5 for a while now and it works great, but I like to test before I deploy on production equipment. That's why I was trying to upgrade, but I haven't had any luck upgrading to 4.6. Other people seem to be ok, I'm wondering if it is the US site that is the problem. If I connect a console cable I can see that it gets about 3/4 of the way through the decompression and then aborts.

I wouldn't worry about trying to get it to work.
Not our job.

At least they have enough error checking to verify the packages prior to trying to install them.

I'm sure MT will eventually fix it.

Until then, sit back and enjoy the train wreck.

AFAIK only the torrent seed is broken, because somebody is manually seedin broken stuff, because MT seed is gone. Try HTTP

doesn't torrent client checks files by calculating its cheecksums? ;) AFAIK, it's impossible to redistribute trash files instead of, for example, pirated video - you should make your own .torrent :)

yeah, that's because the "someone" who was seeding broken stuff is our own mirror, who creates the torrent files :D the server got bad packages, and the mirrored them to all the mirrors and torrents.
