ntp question

Thu Apr 01, 2010 7:09 am

on my router, I have NTP server to time.nrc.ca and it keeps time no problem.

but any other ap's that are bridged do not keep time or get info once NTP is enabled.

what am I doing wrong?

have you configured them properly, like dns is set to resolve the name, address is reachable?

Also, you can enable NTP server on your first router and the rest of you APs to point to that one.

thanks: when I downloaded upgrade, it did not include ntp server. Did that and pointed all ap's to my router and all is fine.

I notice now that the "combined package" does not have all the files that are in "all files"

As far back as I can remember, combined package never did have ALL the packages, just the most common ones. I do wish that hotspot was not automatically installed and enabled now! So you see, you can't make everyone happy! :-(
