Logging support

Hello guys,

can u please anyone help me logging the connection with syslog demaon

source and destination ip's
source and destination ports
timings

please help me how i can configure to generate this log to syslog demon

/system logging action
set remote src-address=192.0.2.1 remote=192.0.2.2:514
Example: Log wireless debug logs to syslog.
/system logging
add topics=wireless,debug action=remote

please paste the example for logging traffic like source address destination address and ports

Please be more clear as to what you mean. Are you looking for additional commands on the MikroTik, or your syslog server? What type of data are you trying to log?

Please be more clear as to what you mean. Are you looking for additional commands on the MikroTik, or your syslog server? What type of data are you trying to log?
Hello thanks for the quick reply

iam using NAT in my mikrotik, authorities need a log for security reasons they wants us to maintain a record of

source Ip destination Ip source port and destination port and time and need a external server which can able to filter the records by time date etc

so i want to set a syslog server

please help me in configuring one
