hello all.
i tried to get some help from the untangle people for this but no one knew how to get this done.
untangle has a mode called bridge mode, as demonstrated on their website; http://wiki.untangle.com/index.php/Intr ... s_a_Bridge
setup is simple:
net -> mikrotik router -> ut box -> users (currently only me for testing)
ok so i am not sure where the issue is but if the mikrotik router is set to normal nat operation all is good however...
what i want to do is setup a pppoe server on the mikrotik router. that works fine if ut isnt bridged but the minute ut box is bridge i can initiate a pppoe connection just fine but then everything dies. no web browsing what-so-ever. i can however ping the outside world but cant browse so it has to be something simple i am missing here?
i've set the Intrusion prevention and other stuff to auto-refresh but the logs are empty.
i've even gone as far as disable all the items in the rack. still no go. just ping is ok.
on a side note; if i setup a hotspot server on the mikrotik router all works great too. its just the pppoe server is the problem now.
