AR5213+AR2112 + nstreme rev13

Sat Aug 21, 2004 1:33 am

Hello

Normal wireless package :
bandwih-test direction=both protocol=TCP > rx/tx = 13mbit

Nstreme 13:
-nstreme disable
mode=2,4ghz-g-turbo > rx/tx=600kbps
mode=2,4ghz-onlyg > rx/tx=1,2mbit

-nstreme enable
mode=2,4ghz-g-turbo > rx/tx=600kbps
mode=2,4ghz-onlyg > rx/tx=3mbit

why ?

yeah, I observed very similar behaviour. So far, nstreme with g-turbo is not the best combination. BTW, you have to have excellent signal for g-turbo to function properly with full transfer, don't count on -78dB !!

for mikrotik company : this is our official statement :

so far, we found the fastest g-turbo to be around 3.5MB/s {despite of 80Mbit/s UDP test throughput !} and classic g to achieve around 3MB/s {UDP transfer : around 45Mbit/s}. Why real throughput is not doubled, nobody can tell. Of course, we are NOT limited by CPU performance, we don't use routerboards, wrap's etc, we use ATX computers and 800MHz Celeron has plenty of power for these operations - they are running at around 20% :)

wel...with superG with ap2000 and g520 on I managed to get about 4 mb/s on distance about 700 meters..
of course, nothing else worked then...
