If I set up notifications and probes on a particular computer, I'm assuming the Dude keeps tabs on it via it's IP address?

It is possible to configure the Dude so it will track the computer via it's domain name instead? So, for instance, if I set up http, ssh, and ping notifications on "dev_laptop" with so and so IP address, if dev_laptop's IP then changes to something else, I'll still get the same notifications.

On the general tab for a device you can use "name to address" and "DNS lookup interval" to have DNS resolve the IP address for the name in the "DNS Names:" box.
