When using a bonding interface on a routerboard, is it possible to connect the bonded ethernet slaves to an unmanaged switch?

I'm really confused on what kind of networking hardware is compatible with bonded ethernet interfaces on routeros.

It is not going to work with unmanaged switch.
In 802.3ad mode you still need to specify on which ports LACP will be running.
