750g power problems

Mon Apr 04, 2011 6:23 pm

Hello all,

I have the above mentioned router. I have it on a UPS, but every once in a while it will lose power. I have to unplug and replug it several times to get it to come back on.

Does this sound like a power supply issue or a problem with the router itself?

Thanks.

Or perhaps do I need the higher amperage power supply: 24HPOW for this router?

Do you have a 12v500ma up to 12v1a wall wart with an "M" connector? Try that. The 24v power supply might be too much voltage. They shut down for that too.

I've got a 12v 1a. Not sure if it has a M connector on it, though.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by that?

The UPS is new. It is powered and charged. Just there to do its job.

I checked last night and I have the lower powered 12v adapter powering this router. Should I try the 24v one? I read on another forum page that the 750g uses a lot of power, and under certain circumstances, the 12v is not enough power?

I have problems with English.
UPS should be without breaking the food chain.
