Multiple uplinks : traffic going out the wrong interface

Tue Mar 15, 2011 3:17 am

Hi Guys,

Sorry , this is about the same topic as the VoIP Sip routing, but I presume the title scared people off. Simply put, my problem is that I have two uplinks on one RB450G router. I configure a static route to route traffic to a certain IP range over PPPoE ( ETH1) and the rest over default gateway which is ETH2. But, when the traffic goes out through PPPoE ( ETH1) packet tracer says "src address = <ip address of ETH2>", but used interface is ETH1 ).

See screenshot. Any help appreciated.

Best guess - connected route is used.
