Weird lock down on channel of 2.4

Mon Jan 02, 2006 4:38 pm

Hi, i am Lim from Indonesia. I put 3 omni on my tower and i found a heavy interference issues (between the 3 AP), so i change my mind to use 3 piece of 120 degree sectoral antenna to serve my clients. I set their channel to 1,5,12 (that's the best i could get) and everything works fine until today afternoon. Suddenly the AP on channel 5 down (the clients couldn't associate), seems like someone is locking up the channel. When i change to channel 2 it works again but it interfere the other on channel 1. I am thinking is there any device or ways to lock the channel as i mention above? Anyone has got the issues?

Regards,
Lim

I have tried to change the channel and i could get my clients back on channel 9 (but with 20% packet loss). I am curious if there's any device that could lock the channel as in my situation. Will it be a booster used by others in my environment?
