On a Intel D525MWV mini-itx motherboard with 5.x or 4.17 ( just haven't tested more ) when you ask for a reboot the system hangs after announcing "rebooting" Anyone have any ideas about this? I'm hunting around for my serial cable to see what is on the console
Thanks!
Obviously, see where it hangs with the serial cable connected.
I am not sure if this applies, but try a different brand of RAM. I have seen this happen on RB1000 and RB1100 RouterBoards when running certain brands of SDRAM. The "bad" RAM would pass all RAM tests but would hang on reboot. My solution was to find a brand that rebooted properly.
Good luck,
Tom
FWIW I have been running ROS 5.x versions on both Atom D510 boards and Atom D525 boards without any reboot problems.
