Hotspot login page

Tue Jun 14, 2011 5:11 pm

I've created a hotspot on an RB/433 routerboard. I have a windows xp pc and I get the hotspot login page. I login and everhting works fine. I try to use a windows 7 pc and it can't display the hotspot login page. I've tried refreshing the page and this does not work either. The only alteration I made to the login page was I changed the graphic to custom logo. Did anyone experience this problem? Thanks for the help.

Do you use any specific settings for dns-name at /ip hotspot profile?

I did not use any specific settings. I did not use the FQDN either. I have setup the FQDN and I am going to test to see if this is the cause of the problem. Thanks.

Yes, FQDN entry is necessary at /ip hotspot profile, otherwise some browsers refuse to work with (myhotspot as dns-name).
