3.0 DHCP Problem maybe?

Sun Jan 20, 2008 4:43 am

I just updated a hotel router from 2.9.50 to v3.0

I never got these log messages before now they show up every minute:

dhcp warning info ... server offering lease (ip) for (mac) without success

Happening to lots of ips and mac addresses...

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Scott

could you tell us more about your setup on Hotspot/DHCP? Are you using Hotspot/DHCP on wireless?
Please make the support output file right after you see this log message and send it to support@mikrotik.com

SOLVED (for 1 MAC at least).

Not sure how to do code so someone else can translate if they like but here's what worked for me:

IP --> DHCP Server --> Leases --> Add new --> General="Pool_Name", MAC Address="MAC address of desired blocked", Server="Name of DHCP Server", Block access = yes, Address List = Black-list

Hope that helps someone else
