Last night I had a stress time - I was "playing" with data rates on one of three wireless cards R52nM (not important one) on RB433 used as access point to three networks and after some change I've completely lost connection despite the fact, I was connected through other card. So I had to go to roof with devices early morning to found out what's wrong.
I was hearing booting beeps one after another - RB433 was restarting itself every few seconds (but I am not using Watchdog function with Watch Address). So I opened the box, removed the card I was playing with before and then system was working fine. I thought the card is damaged, but I tried to give it back - system was restarting again. I tried to disconnect antenna only and - it was working! Obviously restart was incurred by client connection. So I have changed data rates back and connected antenna back and everything was fine again.
I'm attaching screenshots from WinBox - working situation has default rates, restarting situation has custom configured data rates - ok, I know they were not good (no basic rate), but as I said - I was just "playing". But the problem is - is it normal that RB is restarting itself after this kind of change or is it a bug?
One more information - client of this card has an old WiFi device (router) working on 802.11b only (max 11 Mbps). I have also autosupout files if it would help.
