Can anyone tell me about ANTENNA GAIN. i search on it but can't get answer.

1- With High Antenna Gain can we cover more distance?
2- For which Purpose antenna gain used?

(1) higher gain antenna is to cover more distance but with reduced area, that is 16dbi will generally have a cover area of 90 degrees horizontal beyond the 90degrees the gains drops off, 24dbi antenna will generally have a 10degree horizontal coverage area, for example if you have a customer say 15kms from the AP a 16dbi may not get sufficient signal but using a 24dbi antenna they will assuming you are using a 16dbi AP

(2) Which purpose relates to application - higher gain reduced beamwidth (=area coverage) antenna for PTP links, medium gain gain antenna's used for maximum beamwidth coverage in AP's,

Think of antenna's like "spot light" to illuminate small area (high gain) in the distance and "flood light" to illuminate wide area but short distance (low/medimum gain)

If you can give the scenario of what you want to achieve, you can get specific advice!

look at the antenna spec, then u can use the triangle calculation method to calculate you coverage.

this method can help you a lot.
