loops and random ip or mac clone

Wed Aug 10, 2011 11:02 am

Hello,

I have a network with a mikrotik hotspot an 6 Ubiquiti nanostation2 antennas.

All antennas have the following configuration:

Firmware: dd-wrt v24 preSP2 Build: 13064.
Static IP.
AP mode.
some WDS links

The network has been working well for months until now.

When trying to access the web configuration of the antennas went into an infinite loop and did not allow access.

Yet another thing I detected is that appearing in the hotspot connections from different antennas with the same IP. See the screenshots (example 1 and 2).

I don't know if the antenna clone a mac address of other antenna or the antenna is that, for some strange reason it changes the static ip I set.

I have found no record of this case. Anyone know any?

What could be the problem? Maybe the antenna is physically damaged?

Is there any solution to avoid this behavior?

I reinstalled the firmware via tftp, and still is the same.

Any ideas or questions?
