Reboot problem with RouterOS 4.17?

Mon Sep 05, 2011 7:51 pm

Hello,
we now had the same problem on 3 different 493AH boards, they stuck in reboot on OS version 4.17. Only solution was to power off the boards. Anyone else, who can confirm this problem?

Had problems with 4.1X rebooting so i never would reboot during peak usage hours and only when nearby to re-cycle the power as they could shutdown, MT fixed this issue in the 5.X, now using 5.6 working very good.

Yes, it happens with my 450G on 4.17. I'll press "reboot" in Winbox and the router seems to shut off. I have to unplug the unit to bring it back.

Yes very inconvenient when you are not sure if the router will reboot or shutdown but as mentioned I moved to 5.6 and is very stable and better throughput performance on wireless.
