high ping values

Mon Feb 06, 2006 10:44 pm

Hi M8's!

I've 2 APs in a RB532. Sometimes the users have extremely high pings, while they are pinging the AP. I have firewall filters with a lot of ports denied (same like the demo2.mt.lv mikrotik).
What should I do? Which other ports should i disable? Local traffic is already disabled, and also ports 135-139 and 445 both tcp and udp protocol.

Thanks

Do have disabled fordwarding on the ap? Upgrade to 2.9.12, check cables, antenna, pigtail...
