Very nice results, especially the 60km link. Can you run a speedtest with tcp traffic and a duplex test?
Also, do you have the power turned down on the SR71-15?

How much bandwidth was between the (same) two links with the version 5.8?
What are (technically) the improvements in version 5.9?

160mbps max and a little high latency (4~10 ms), the real improve its the noise, before a lost 3db of rx and tx on each side, and on rain drops a lot more, now its raining and just dropped a little, tcp test its very limited by cpu 64 mbps, from pc to pc 96mbps on tpc, limited by the lan 100mbps, sorry for my english :P

Well ...

Finally some promissing results for a 900MHz XR9 cards, 5MHz BW, both NLOS links.

Untill V 5.7 one of them have the calculated distance wanderin between 5 ... 15Km back and forth. The 5MHz 802.11G calculated distance is 9/10Km ... (the real distance is 2.4Km).

Now ... 5.9 at one RB433 CPE, 5.8 at the RB433 AP and ... 5.8 at the other CPE (WRAP => X86!!!!) ... and it's working ...

In a couple of hours I'll upgrade the AP and later the X86 ...

I'm a bit afraid abt X86 ... because I downloaded the pre-release npk just changing letters at the link for the file routeros- mipsbe-5.9.npk (became routeros-x86-5.9.npk) :-/

Links are up for 45min now. Used to be ... 20 or 30 seconds than starts to disconnect/reconnect.

Regards;

try also ping. When I changed 802.11a to nv2, latency got worse from 2ms without nv2 to 7,5ms with nv2(when there is no traffic).
Bandwitch test: tcp: 18mbit, udb: 39mbit. Ping max. 20ms.Why is so big difference between tcp and udp using nv2?

here is ping:

Hi
For SR71-15 are you using default power profile?

Is that performance reached using bridge? Or vpls?
