EOIP with PPP

Mon Dec 26, 2011 8:20 pm

Hi to All

i'm using PPP server over EOIP interface with Megis QOS .

There is small issue that all users under same EOIP interface be shared in the PCQ limit that its should go for each user in the normal case when we use normal PPP over Ethernet , here is my config

<code> /interface eoip
add arp=enabled disabled=no l2mtu=65535 local-address=100.100.0.1 mac-address=\
02:38:9B:B6:16:DF mtu=1500 name=Area1 remote-address=100.100.0.4 \
tunnel-id=124 <code>

<code>/ppp profile
add change-tcp-mss=no local-address=175.214.189.54 name=Area1 only-one=yes \
remote-address=hqnormal use-compression=default use-encryption=yes \<code>

while i'm using same config PPP but over VLAN , its work on normal , only with EOIP i have this problem

appreciate any post and support

Regards

If you are marking and queuing encapsulated traffic then yes, it will be one PCQ since source and destination is tunnel end addresses.
